Bryan Piccioli raised all in to 520,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Gabriel Schroeder in the big blind, who made the call.
Bryan Piccioli: 9♥6♥
Gabriel Schroeder: A♠5♦
Schroeder flopped two pair on 5♣Q♣Q♦ and turned it into a full house on the Q♠ turn. Piccioli did not improve on the 2♣ river and he was the last player to be eliminated before the field converged into an unoffical final table of ten players.
Action folded to Santiago Plante who jammed from the cutoff. Alex Zhang called off from the button and the blinds got out of the way to send the two players to a runout with Zhang at risk.
Alex Zhang: K♠K♣
Santiago Plante: A♣2♣
The board ran out 6♣6♥6♦J♠10♥ which was safe for Zhang as he doubles through Plante with only one player to lose until the final table.
Just after doubling up, Tai Cao raised his cutoff to 820,000, leaving only 200,000 behind. Gabriel Schroeder was on the button and just called, while the blinds got out of the way.
The flop of J♠9♦4♦ saw Cao put his final chips in, and Schroeder made the call.
Tai Cao: K♣Q♣
Gabriel Schroeder: A♦7♠
Schroeder was still ahead but Cao had a gutshot straight draw in addition to his pair outs. Schroeder solidified his lead on the A♥ turn, but the 10♠ river saw Cao's Broadway come in and he raked in another double-up.
Tai Cao open-jammed his final 360,000 chips from the button and Bryan Piccioli paid the extra chips from the big blind to put his opponent at risk.
Tai Cao: A♣4♠
Bryan Piccioli: 6♦3♥
Piccioli was the only one to flop a pair on 2♦J♣3♣, and the 7♥ turn did not help Cao either. However, the A♦ fell on the river to give him two pair and a much-needed double-up.
Michael Liang in the hijack raised to 2,280,000, leaving himself just 100,000 chips behind. Etay Akshuta on the button called off the bet for his remaining 1,960,000 and the cards were tabled.
Etay Akshuta: K♣K♥
Michael Liang: A♥9♣
The board ran out 9♥6♠5♦A♠Q♥. Liang pulled ahead on the turn to send Akshuta to the rail.
Action folded to Roger Franco in the small blind who jammed for 1,465,000. After Hon Cheong Lee verified the count, he called from the big blind to send both players to a runout with Franco at risk.
Roger Franco: A♠3♥
Hon Cheong Lee: A♣10♠
The board ran out 9♣K♣6♣K♦5♠, securing the pot for Lee as Franco was sent to the rail in 13th place for $11,002.
Travis Tachibana was automatically all-in from the big blind for 160,000 and the action folded to Gabriel Schroeder on the button. He raised to 320,000 and the small blind got out of the way.
Travis Tachibana: J♣3♣
Gabriel Schroeder: J♥6♥
Schroeder was holding the superior jack, and he would be the only one to make two pair on the 7♦10♦6♦4♣J♠ board, eliminating Tachibana in 14th place.
